Jobs at small Louisville companies nobody posts about, janitorial supervisor here

Two small Louisville employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They like a brief email with a résumé. Should I visit in person?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
