Jobs at small Hartford companies nobody posts about, event coordinator here

Two small Hartford employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I worked as an event coordinator before this. They like a brief email with a résumé. Should I visit in person?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.
