Jobs at small Detroit companies nobody posts about after 5 years as a nurse's aide

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. What do you write in a cold email?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
