Jobs at small Cincinnati companies nobody posts about - any advice?

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. It has been a long 24 weeks. One is a print shop, one is an accounting firm and one is a clinic. What do you write in a cold email?

Keep a list of who you contacted and when. It makes follow-ups easy.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
