Jobs at small Baltimore companies nobody posts about - 16 weeks in

Two small Baltimore employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. Does anyone have similar leads?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
