Jobs at small Atlanta companies nobody posts about - first time posting

Two small Atlanta employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. Should I visit in person?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.
