Hiring several warehouse roles around St. Louis - what worked for you?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of St. Louis, with day and night shifts. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Has anyone worked there?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
