Hiring several warehouse roles around St. Louis - first time posting

A distribution centre near St. Louis is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I am in St. Louis, in case local advice matters. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
