Hiring several warehouse roles around Seattle

A distribution centre near Seattle is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I am in Seattle, in case local advice matters. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
