Hiring several warehouse roles around San Diego - what worked for you?

Jamie Okonkwo · 2026-08-19T05:34:34.728Z

A distribution centre near San Diego is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
