Hiring several warehouse roles around San Diego - any advice?

A distribution centre near San Diego is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I worked as a line cook before this. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. What are the shifts like?

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.
