Hiring several warehouse roles around Sacramento - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Sacramento is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.
