Hiring several warehouse roles around Portland - what worked for you?

A logistics company in Portland is adding people before the busy season. It has been weighing on me all week. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
