Hiring several warehouse roles around Pittsburgh - 9 weeks in

A distribution centre near Pittsburgh is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I am in Pittsburgh, in case local advice matters. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
