Hiring several warehouse roles around Madison - any advice?

A logistics company in Madison is adding people before the busy season. Any experience at all would help. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
