Hiring several warehouse roles around Jacksonville - 3 months and counting

A logistics company in Jacksonville is adding people before the busy season. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
