Hiring several warehouse roles around Honolulu - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Honolulu is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.
