Hiring several warehouse roles around Hartford - any advice?

A logistics company in Hartford is adding people before the busy season. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
