Hiring several warehouse roles around Chicago - any advice?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Chicago, with day and night shifts. It has been a long 17 weeks. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
