Hiring several warehouse roles around Chicago after 14 years as a nurse's aide

A distribution centre near Chicago is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
