Hiring several warehouse roles around Birmingham, IT help-desk technician here

A distribution centre near Birmingham is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. It has been weighing on me all week. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
