Hiring several warehouse roles around Baltimore - first time posting

A distribution centre near Baltimore is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
