Hiring several warehouse roles around Atlanta - any advice?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Atlanta, with day and night shifts. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
