Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Sacramento - what worked for you?

A regional carrier near Sacramento is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. Any experience at all would help. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. Anyone with experience there?

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.
