Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Phoenix - any advice?

A regional carrier near Phoenix is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. Are the local runs really home every night?

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.
