Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Phoenix - any advice?

A regional carrier near Phoenix is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. A clean driving record is required. Anyone with experience there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
