Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Minneapolis - any advice?

A regional carrier near Minneapolis is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A clean driving record is required. How is the pay in practice?

Check safety ratings for the company. A quick search told me a lot.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
