Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Memphis - any advice?

A regional carrier near Memphis is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. I am in Memphis, in case local advice matters. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. How is the pay in practice?

Local runs were steady for me, but early starts are common. Plan for a 4 a.m. alarm.

Paid commercial-licence training can come with a contract to stay for a set time. Read that part carefully.
