Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Chicago - 9 months and counting

Several delivery companies in Chicago are hiring drivers with clean records. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. How is the pay in practice?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Check safety ratings for the company. A quick search told me a lot.
