Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Buffalo - what worked for you?

Several delivery companies in Buffalo are hiring drivers with clean records. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A clean driving record is required. Are the local runs really home every night?

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.
