Hiring now: drivers with a commercial licence near Boston - any advice?

A regional carrier near Boston is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. Anyone with experience there?

Check safety ratings for the company. A quick search told me a lot.

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.
