Hiring: medical assistants and aides in Portland - what worked for you?

Several clinics and a hospital near Portland are hiring medical assistants, patient-care techs and schedulers. They mention tuition help for people who want to train further. Anyone else applying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
