Hiring: medical assistants and aides in Portland - any advice?

Taylor Baptiste · 2026-08-18T09:17:58.612Z

Several clinics and a hospital near Portland are hiring medical assistants, patient-care techs and schedulers. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Shifts range from mornings to overnight. Do any of these pay for certification?

Ask about overtime and shift differentials. The hourly rate does not tell the whole story.
