Hiring: medical assistants and aides in Minneapolis after 4 years as a welding apprentice

Several clinics and a hospital near Minneapolis are hiring medical assistants, patient-care techs and schedulers. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Shifts range from mornings to overnight. Do any of these pay for certification?

I got into a patient-care role with no experience. They paid for my certification once I passed a background check.
