Hiring: medical assistants and aides in Atlanta - what worked for you?

Several clinics and a hospital near Atlanta are hiring medical assistants, patient-care techs and schedulers. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some do not require prior experience for entry-level roles. Do any of these pay for certification?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
