Several clinics and a hospital near Portland are hiring medical assistants, patient-care techs and schedulers. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Some do not require prior experience for entry-level roles. Do any of these pay for certification?

Ask about overtime and shift differentials. The hourly rate does not tell the whole story.
