Flexible shifts hiring in Toledo after 9 years as an office manager

A grocery chain and a hotel near Toledo are hiring part-time staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
