Flexible shifts hiring in Tampa after 15 years as a web developer

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Tampa. I am in Tampa, in case local advice matters. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
