Flexible shifts hiring in St. Louis (St. Louis)

A grocery chain and a hotel near St. Louis are hiring part-time staff. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
