Flexible shifts hiring in San Diego - what worked for you?

A cleaning company is taking applications for evening crews. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
