Flexible shifts hiring in Portland - what worked for you?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Portland. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Is the schedule really fixed?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
