Flexible shifts hiring in Portland - any advice?

A cleaning company is taking applications for evening crews. I am in Portland, in case local advice matters. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
