Flexible shifts hiring in Pittsburgh - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Pittsburgh are hiring part-time staff. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. How many hours do they guarantee?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
