Flexible shifts hiring in Oklahoma City - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Oklahoma City are hiring part-time staff. I worked as a recruiter before this. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
