Flexible shifts hiring in Milwaukee, paralegal here

A grocery chain and a hotel near Milwaukee are hiring part-time staff. Any experience at all would help. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
