Flexible shifts hiring in Memphis - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Memphis are hiring part-time staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. How many hours do they guarantee?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
