Flexible shifts hiring in Madison - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Madison are hiring part-time staff. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
