Flexible shifts hiring in Little Rock - any advice?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Little Rock. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
