Flexible shifts hiring in Jacksonville - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Jacksonville are hiring part-time staff. Thank you in advance. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
