Flexible shifts hiring in Denver - what worked for you?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Denver. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. How many hours do they guarantee?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
